Just a little less than a month ago E-40 released his first single “Function” featuring YG, IamSu! and Problem. Flattering radio support combined with a viral functioning frenzy amongst both media outlets and fans all indicate signs of a reliable formula of success for the three upcoming E-40 albums. Monday, March 26, 2012 marks the triple threat release date of The Block Brochure Welcome To The Soil 1, 2 & 3. Just this time last year “My Shit Bang,” the first single from E-40’s last effort Revenue Retrievin: Graveyard Shift, received over 3 million views within 72 hours after its release. This year’s first single “Function” will ignite excited anticipation amongst viewers and listeners for the release of E-40’s unprecedented Block Brochures. For some, it may seems as though E-40 just released an album a few months ago, that’s because he has consistently remained relevant from viral content to packed out live shows, headlining the Paid Dues Festival and performing at over 50 concerts that kicked off internationally in Oslo and Bodo, Norway, overseas and continuing throughout United States.
